Period Pain is NOT Normal! (2min Read)
News flash: Period pains are not the norm! Contrary to popular belief, it is not the burden we are doomed to carry whilst we suffer in silence. In fact, pain of any kind, whether it’s back pain, knee pain, or pain in your eyes (ouch!) is not normal. Pain is the body’s way of communicating with you and transmitting signals to you through nerve fibres. It’s the body’s way of saying, ‘hey, something needs attention and we need to check in for a moment’.
In a study looking at the benefits of magnesium on the muscles, researchers found that magnesium was much lower in those who reported extreme period pain, compared to those who experienced no pain. So perhaps these are clues that the body isn’t just at war with itself every month, but it’s in fact calling out for something and trying to alert you to deficiencies, stress or lack of sleep that needs attention.
I’ll leave you with this: period pain can definitely become a thing of the past! If you’re looking for effective and natural tips to overcoming this, then sign up to receive your free guide ABC to Living Pain-Free today. Wishing you well in your journey of healing and recovery!
